Sidney Borum Jr. Health Center
Behavioral Health

The behavioral health team at the Sidney Borum Jr. Health Center is a group of LGBT friendly social workers and clinicians providing individual (family, couple, and group) clinical services to people in need of treatment for:
* Substance abuse
* Transgender care
* Trauma and other mental health issues
* HIV/AIDS concerns
* LGBT and sexual orientation exploration
* Psychiatric referrals

The behavioral health team believes in building a trusting relationship between client and clinician so that patients can have the best possible care. Treatment planning and goal planning is done as a collaborative process between clinician and client. We believe in meeting clients where they’re at! We attempt to address what brings our clients in the door rather then having our own clinical agendas.

If you would like to schedule an appointment with one of our providers please call the Borum Health Center and speak to a Patient Services Specialist.
If you are experiencing a clinical emergency please go to your nearest emergency room.

We are open Monday 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday 8:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Friday 9 to 5 (last appointment of the day is 30 minutes before we close).

It's easy to come in and see a doctor or nurse: call up (617-457-8140) and make an appointment on the same day.
